Cholesterol itself is not a bad thing and is actually needed
for cell maintenance, nerve insulation, brain nourishment
and proper hormonal balances. However, there are two forms
of cholesterol we need to be aware of, high density levels (HDL)
and low density levels (LDL). The ideal is a high count of
HDL and a low LDL count. The term high cholesterol refers to
LDL. LDL sticks to the vascular walls creating fat deposits
known as Arteriosclerotic plaque. This must be melted down
to have an efficient cardiovascular system. The optimal way
of doing this is by ensuring a diet full of antioxidants.
Lecithin, garlic and black seed are the perfect combination
for reducing cholesterol levels. Lecithin, a solubilising
agent, breaks fat into microscopic particles enabling it to
pass efficiently. It works both as preventative and cure by
keeping fat in soluble form and thinning the blood, thereby
lessening clotting risk. Garlic has been proven to reduce
total serum cholesterol levels. It is a potent free radical
scavenger as well as preventing tumours and fighting
cardiovascular disease.
Black seed is an excellent antioxidant which prevents the
formation of oxidized LDL. In addition, it lowers
cholesterol and LDL levels by increasing cholesterol loss in
the gastro intestinal tract and potentiating lecithin
effect. Black seed has been used for centuries in Middle
Eastern and South Mediterranean countries to boost the
immune system, improve liver, kidney and circulatory
functions and to treat arthritis, bronchial asthma,
parasitic infections, and gastrointestinal ailments. Combine
garlic and black seed with lecithin and see a perfect trio
with excellent results. This vital combination is available
at your local health food store. |
